Get Lost Mountaineering

You are here: England » Lincolnshire » Lincoln Area Cycle Rides

Although Lincoln is on two levels, each level is essentially flat making it ideal for fairly easy cycling especially on dedicated tracks.  There are many pleasant villages and pubs, a nature park, level crossings, stately homes and other places of interest.  Many of the pubs are ideal for breaks along the way but check opening times before arriving as some are closed on certain days especially at lunch time.  Most of the roads used are fairly minor so traffic isn't usually a problem.

The only map likely to be needed, if indeed one is needed, is the OS sheet 121: Lincoln.  If any routes stray onto other maps then it will be flagged up in the route.  Those who have the OS maps electronically will be able to print out the relevant section for their route to save on bulk.

In time, most of the areas around Lincoln will be covered and uploaded.
